Having a PPO at the end of your summer internship is what every student aims for. However, the hard work and dedication it requires to get one isn’t a piece of cake. What kind of projects will you be tasked with? What does it take to tackle these projects, and succeed? Find out how to approach your summer internship in this video featuring Harshita Philkana, a student at XLRI who did her summer internship with Bajaj Auto.
In this video, Harshita Philkana, a second year student at XLRI, discusses how she got a summer internship with Bajaj Auto, and her experience tackling challenges in a field she had no experience in. The automobile industry being a relatively new field for her, she had to learn a lot of new technical skills, in addition to honing her marketing skills. Part of her internship included her staying in Bangladesh for twenty days, conducting market research on foreign soil, interviewing people whose language she did not speak, and much more. Her hard work and dedication led to her getting a PPO from Bajaj Auto.

3. Keep yourself updated with current affairs, especially in the industry you desire to work in.
