I have come across many interesting profiles during my MBA. However, this has to be one of the most unique people I have met. 2 MBAs (5 years apart) – that too 1 in HR and the other from a top 6 IIM; getting into a Top tier consulting with scores of ~65% in 10th, 12th & post-graduation and less than 60% in graduation! Does that ever happen? Read more to find out about the man’s journey. This should give hope to any individual who thinks that low scores would mean bad placements! If you work on your interview skills and on other aspects of your profile, there is still a lot you can achieve! CIC 2025- Article top
  1. Tell us something about yourself – your journey

I have always considered myself an average person, be it sports or academics. While I am not academically gifted, I tend to do much better in the entrance exams, something that I discovered when I first appeared for competitive exams after completing my 12th Grade. Fast forward a few years, I have cleared the UGC NET Thrice (Assistant Professor only), Managed to score an overall Band 8 in IELTS, and scored enough in the CAT to find myself pursuing my second MBA from IIM Kozhikode.  I pursued my first MBA from XISS Ranchi. Prior to this, I have completed a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Delhi University. My First MBA gave me the opportunity to work with 2 organisations – the first organisation was an Indian clothing chain outlet and the second a veteran recruitment firm.
