In January 2021, a PGDM student of IIM Ahmedabad allegedly committed suicide in the hostel room. On the surface, it might look like an unfortunate incident that takes place in a pressure situation and a highly competitive environment. But upon mapping the rising number of such cases across the country, a pattern evolves. Indian youth are seriously being affected by wide ranging mental health issues. Many students are looking for employment, many are en route to b-school campuses, and many are about to begin preparing for competitive exams, journeys that are mentally challenging and highly competitive. No matter who we are or what we do, stress, anxiety, tension, and failure may ruin our experience of life, especially in the middle of a pandemic. To solve that problem for you, InsideIIM is calling on experts in mental health who will share practical steps that will not only help you address problems relating to stress, anxiety, inferiority, failure, and remote lifestyle but also share effective ways to help you come out stronger. Time: 25 February 2021, 6 PM Join us in helping you help yourself. Shoot your questions here: http://bit.ly/2MiPZ34
