When did you start preparing for the GD-PI-WAT Process? How much time did you dedicate (daily and overall)?
I started my preparation for the process after the results for IIFT were declared. I believed that the key to ace such interview processes was focusing on one’s strengths and significantly building on the same. I used to shell out around 2 hours daily for the preparation process.

What kinds of resources did you use during your preparation?
I used the handbooks provided by my coaching, underwent various mock interviews and worked on my CV. I also followed the news and brushed up my General knowledge.
Did you prepare through self-study or coaching? What was your reasoning for the decision?
I prepared through coaching for a more systematic and accountable approach. I think that coaching institutes allowed a lot of room for improvement and also gave the much needed direction which is often amiss in self study. Also, it leads to a lot of consistency and support from industry experts which helps one to go about the process in an easier way.
What were the biggest challenges you faced during your preparation for the GD-PI-WAT process?
One of the biggest challenges was to identify the resources to use as there was so much material to read and go through. I found it tough to sort things out and understand the information that was essential and the one that could be overlooked. I made the correct choices and somehow, did not lose my calm throughout the process.
