According to Career Launcher, it seems that a good score would be 97+ marks for IIFT 2023 (General Category). Please refer to the table below for section-wise cut-offs and overall marks for all categories.

As per the experts at IMS, a score of 131 will fetch a 99 %ile on IIFT 2023. In the IIFT exam, the overall cut-off is significantly more than the sum of the individual sectional cut-offs. Ideally, a student should attempt a few questions in each section and devote more time and attempt maximum questions from the sections of his/her strength.

IIFT 2023 Analysis - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
According to Career Launcher, the Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension section was moderate to difficult. The 35 questions in this section comprised 16 questions on RCs and the remaining 19 questions from the various topics of Verbal Ability. The VA section focused mostly on vocabulary including synonyms, antonyms, and one-word-substitutions. A good attempt in VA would have been 8- 10 questions. As per IMS, 10-12 questions in Reading Comprehension is a good attempt, while good attempts in Verbal Ability are 20-22 questions.

IIFT 2023 Analysis - Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
According to Career Launcher, in terms of the level of difficulty, this section was easy to moderate. In DI, out of 4 sets, 2 sets were easy and should have been attempted. On the other hand, in LR, 10 to 12 questions could have been attempted. According to IMS, the difficulty level for this section was Medium. Good attempts in this section should be around 12-14 questions.
IIFT 2023 Analysis - Quantitative Aptitude
According to Career Launcher, the Quantitative Aptitude section of IIFT 2023 was moderate-difficult in terms of difficulty. Candidates could aim for a score of 20- 22 within an optimum time of 30 to 35 minutes. As per the experts at IMS, 8-9 attempts in this section will be considered good. Quantitative Ability was the toughest section in the 2023 IIFT paper.
IIFT 2023 Analysis - General Awareness
As per Career Launcher, the General Awareness section in IIFT 2023 was moderate in terms of the level of difficulty. A good score in this section would be 6+ marks. According to IMS, 10-12 attempts in this section with ~60-70% accuracy should be good.
