IIM Bangalore’s Vista launches with over 40 events, prize money of over Rs. 16 lakh up for grabs

Come September 25
th to 27
th, IIM Bangalore will host the 15
th edition of its International Annual Business Summit,
Vista 2015. With the theme “
Indi-Genius” in the spirit of the “Make in India” Campaign, the summit celebrates all things local and home-brewed.
Vista 2015 is expected to host a line-up of eminent speakers such as
Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar,
Mr. Siddharth Roy Kapur,
Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai and
Mr. Nandan Nilekani among others. The fest is also proud to associate with
FICCI, the apex industry chamber of India, to host the
FICCI Young Leaders Forum which will see stalwarts across startups and industries addressing youth on issues like business and entrepreneurship
.
This edition of Vista also marks the return of the hugely successful
Young Leaders’ Summit; a pioneering workshop which introduces tomorrow’s leaders to the domains of Politics, Business and Defence. Winners take home funding and incubation offers from IIMB’s NSRCEL in the finals of one of South Asia’s largest B-plan competitions,
IIMB’s Bzzwings. For the first time ever, Vista will also host a
MUN (Model United Nations) to identify the next generation of orators and policy-thinkers.
Vista 2015 aims to raise issues and foster dialogue on how to make the development dream more inclusive. Events such as
Vidheyak challenge participants to evaluate the current state of Public Policy for MSMEs, while
Sparsh provides a live forum to brainstorm solutions to the challenges that NGOs face on a day-to-day basis. The event
Impetus focuses on social entrepreneurship and addresses issues faced by women in the workplace.
With up to Rs. 16 lakh up for grabs in over 40 events across all business domains, Vista 2015 will host over 350 colleges and more than 8,000 business enthusiasts from across the country this year.
