IIM Bodh Gaya Concludes The Annual Symposium Elegante 6.0 With An Amazing Performance By Bollywood Singer Ami Mishra.

IIM Bodh Gaya was delighted to organize and celebrate Elegante 6.0, its annual flagship event.  The fest unreeled with an awe inspiring magnificence starting 20th January '23 to 23rd January '23, and hosted more than 25 events in various fields of Sports, Management, and cultural events with enthusiastic students participation from various prestigious institutes across the country, including the National Institute of Technology Patna, National Law University Odisha, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Army Institute of Management Kolkata, Institute of Hotel Management Bodhgaya, NIFT Kolkata to name a few.

Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, Director, IIM Bodh Gaya, concluded the fest by thanking all the students, participants, and faculty. She congratulated the winners and appreciated the hard work of team Elegante.

As the days of Elegante 6.0 saw students raging and sweating in sports, the nights of Elegante 6.0 witnessed the campus grooving to the tunes of DJ Ravish, Avi Jacker. DJ Ravish is one of the finest DJs in the country who has performed in over 40 cities worldwide including Dubai, Doha, Singapore, Istanbul, Kathmandu.

Bollywood singer Ami Mishra, set the crowd on fire, damping the shivering cold of Bodh Gaya. He is an Indian singer-songwriter and playback singer from Mandla, Madhya Pradesh.  He has composed number of bollywood hits like the song Hasi for the film Hamari Adhuri Kahani. Along with bollywood projects, he is also engaged in making independent music after completing the MBA from Indore Management Institute.

Following the opening ceremonies started the Derby de Elegante, a three-day-long sports competition among the various participating colleges ended by concluding the final matches of Cricket, basketball, Table Tennis, football, Badminton, Volleyball, and chess.

The sports event gave way to several cultural events, like Nrityakal- The Solo Dance Competition, Step Up- The Group Dance Competition, Ridham- The Solo Singling Competition; and Navyata- The Fashion Show, and they were all sights to behold. The students also engaged themselves in Manthan- an enlightening inter-panel discussion on the effects of the recession and economic slowdown on emerging startups and entrepreneurs, where various industry leaders and startup founders were invited to present their insights.

Elegante 6.0  was a massive success with tireless efforts of team Elegante, under the guidance of Prof. Sreelekha Mishra, Chairperson of Student Affairs. She concluded the event by giving vote of thanks to the director of IIM Bodh Gaya, and all the contributors along with mentioning that this was a huge learning experience for her as well, as she worked closely with student bodies in the past few months and was amazed by the grit shown by the students.
