This year, IIM Calcutta has removed graduation marks as a shortlisting criterion for the Personal Interview round, while the Writing Ability Test component has been entirely removed from the selection process. The minimum cut-offs set by IIM Calcutta remain the same as last year, with the overall CAT cut-off set at the 85th percentile for the General category. IIM Calcutta's 2021 MBA Selection Criteria - Important Points To Keep In Mind
- IIM Calcutta has kept the minimum CAT 2021 overall percentile cut-off at the 85th percentile. The cut-off for the QA section is at the 75th percentile, while the cut-offs for both the DILR and VARC sections is at the 80th percentile.
- For shortlisting candidates for the WAT-PI round, IIM Calcutta has included the candidate's CAT 2021 score, 10th marks, 12th marks, and gender diversity factor as selection criteria. This year, IIM Calcutta has not included graduation marks as a selection criterion in its admissions process.
- Candidates with less than 12 months of work experience as of January 31st, 2022 will be awarded no points for work experience, while those with 31-36 months of experience will be awarded maximum marks (8).
- While creating the final shortlist, IIM Calcutta has included a candidate's CAT 2021 score, Personal Interview performance, academic diversity score, and work experience amongst the selection criteria. The WAT component has been removed as a selection criterion, as was the case last year.
