Meet Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya - Assistant Professor At IIM Kashipur, InsideIIM Professor Of The Year In 2020
Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya is a fellow of IIM Ahmedabad. He has over a decade of teaching experience of which six years were spent in teaching at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Indore. He has a non-profit international research experience with IWMI and corporate manufacturing experience at Saurashtra Cements Limited.
During his tenure, he has taught and continues to teach courses in Microeconomics. His course titled “Managing Sustainability” developed and co-taught with Prof. Turaga Rama Mohan at IIMA received a Global mention for the Page Prize in Sustainability Curricula.
He has his works published in many forums including peer-reviewed journals, industry and international expert reports. He has consulted for organisations like World Bank, UNDP, IRFT, Government of India, Godrej Agrovet, FCI, etc.
He also has in-depth expertise in rural marketing and marketing of rural products. His current research project involves the establishment of solar irrigation pumps in rural India. The project received a CSR funding from BHEL.
