I find some unique things on the campus of IIM Raipur.
The first thing I find very unique is the student exchange program. I have got to know that almost 50 people of my senior batch had their student exchange program in various countries like Germany, Chile, Australia, Russia, France, Austria, South Korea etc. The other unique point of the campus is its connectivity, only two new IIM’s are situated in the capital of a state. It is also well connected by flights as it has an international airport which is only 10 km far from the campus. It is also well connected by trains.
Another unique thing about the campus is as I feel the temporary campus housing our hostels and classroom all in one building gives us a higher chance of interacting with whole of our batchmates, seniors, and our faculty, however we are going to shift to our permanent campus in two months which is a lot bigger and has all the facilities, that way we are going to experience the old and the new campus which is a unique refreshment to our batch. I observed that there is a zero-communication gap between students and the teaching faculty which is very unique compared to the other IIM ’s.
The teaching faculty is very intellectual and every professor imparts his awe-inspiring perspective while solving distinctive case studies that help to get a new perspective regarding the views on theory and practical education we undergo during our MBA.
Which ABG company you want to work for and why?
If I had to choose a subsidiary from ABG, I would like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited which would help me understand the operations of the industry and use my skills and knowledge of marketing to excel in whatever I do and give me an ocean of opportunities to showcase my skills.
