I stood by these words throughout my preparation for CAT
It’s an amazing journey till now and I am sure there will be many more experiences in these two years. During this journey I have learned a lot, made friends, missed some, understood emotional ups and downs, felt lively, cherished success, embraced failures, summing it up 'awesome' was the time.
And the day came when I packed everything and was not so sure whether to join at IIM Raipur or not but somehow made up my mind (was the best choice ever). Then came the time when I broke my ankle couple of hours ahead of the journey. I came to Raipur with a broken ankle and registered at IIM Raipur. It was a shock and am also surprised to find reptiles in the vicinity and that was okay as it was all outside the campus. It was terribly hot and finally done with our registration process. I was allocated a hostel room on the same day. With all the surprises came the seniors with lots of enthusiasm and entertainment along with rules and regulations. It was fun interacting with all of them and even more resourceful.
Over time I developed a strong connection with the place and people so much so that I don’t remember that this is the first time I am living away from my home. In the meanwhile, I rejected offers from many other premier IIMs because first is always the best and IIM Raipur is the best.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I would like to join Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited Group. These days everyone is a fashion freak and would like to look good all the time. Being India's Most Trusted Apparel Retail Brand I love Pantaloons the most, it has a huge collection of brands. I want to be a part of this team and would like to spread this feeling to the maximum number of people.
