IIM Rohtak Invites Applications For Fellow Program In Management

IIM Rohtak, the only IIM in NCR region has announced admission to its doctoral programme (widely known as Fellow Programme in Management) for the year 2017.

IIM Rohtak, in its initial years of establishment, very well understood the scarcity of quality research programmes available in India and decided to start the doctoral programme to make available qualified researchers and academicians to meet the rising demand of the private and public sector organisations.

Started in the year 2013, the doctoral programme of IIM Rohtak has been proved to be one of the most preferred doctoral programmes by aspirants who have an inclination towards a career in research or in academics.

IIM Rohtak offers a doctoral programme with specialisations in Business Environment, Financial Management, General Management, Human Resources Management, Information Technology Systems, Marketing, Operations and Strategic Management.

Besides the above-listed specialisations, from the year 2017, doctoral programme will also be offered in Interdisciplinary areas, namely Retail Management and Manufacturing including Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The course is designed to produce research scholars and academicians with outstanding intellectual capabilities. The highly qualified faculty of IIM Rohtak and guest faculties from the premier educational Institutes of India, mentor the fellow participants to inculcate quality research aptitude among them.

The fellows are awarded a fellowship of Rs 30,000 for the first two years and of Rs 35,000 during the last two years along with attractive financial assistance in form of contingency grant.The fellows are strongly encouraged to participate in national and international conferences as well as for academic exchange visits to partner institutions for which the institute provides financial support. The batch students have already visited Paris, UAE, Australia, and Switzerland to present their research papers in international conferences. The FPM scholars of IIM Rohtak are among the students of top IIMs, having a good number of quality research publications.

Admissions are open for Indian nationals, PIOs and foreign nationals. Eligible postgraduates in any discipline, Professionals with MBBS, LLB, CA, ICWA, CS, Engineering graduates with a valid test score of either of CAT, GMAT/ GRE, UGC/CSIR, JRF, GATE can apply as per eligibility requirements of the programme at IIM Rohtak.

Only the shortlisted candidates are invited for the admission interviews where the candidates will be assessed for their intellectual capabilities, research aptitude and interest in the management discipline.

The last date of application is February 11, 2017. Tentative Dates of Admission Interviews are April 5 and 6, 2017.
