What makes IIM Trichy unique?
Before joining IIM Trichy everyone must have thought about this. There are 20 IIM’s in India but what makes IIM Trichy so special?. Before coming to the answer I would like to share some background of IIM Trichy.
IIM Trichy is established in 2011 and it was mentored by IIM Bangalore in its initial days. IIM Trichy started in NIT Trichy and then it has shifted to its own State of the art campus which is home for around 400 students from different part of India. IIM Trichy has 175 acres of campus where all the facilities for the students are present such as Learning centre that helps student to clear their doubts and increase their knowledge, Sports complex having the facilities of each and every sport for every sport lover, class rooms and seminar halls and lastly the comfortable and AC single rooms for every student. And to top it all IIM Trichy have the excellent faculty who are willing to help each and every student around the clock.
In the span of 7 years IIM Trichy has developed immensely, IIM Trichy is in the top of all the second generation IIM’s and is giving a tough competition to the first generation IIM’s. In just the span of 7 years IIM Trichy is able to have a 15 NIRF rank which is commendable.
The students in IIM Trichy are from different parts of India and have different backgrounds, different work experience. The current batch of IIM Trichy has the highest gender diversity where the number of female students are more than the number of male students. It is the first time of the history of IIM Trichy where the male to female ratio is almost one.
The motto of IIM Trichy is Dhyanam Anantam and each and every person in IIM Trichy is working towards that motto. The placements of IIM Trichy are better than all the other second generation IIMs.
Lastly apart from all the academics, campus and facilities, IIM Trichy is located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu which is a land of great culture and heritage. It is a major tier 2 city in the state Tamil Nadu. It has prominent historical monuments such as the Rockfort, the Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangam and the Jambukeswarar temple at Thiruvanaikaval. IIM Trichy brings all the cultures from different parts of India and works towards the overall personality development of every student.

If given a chance I would like to work for Aditya Birla Retail Limited. The first reason why I would like to work with retail industry is I have decided that I want to pursue my MBA in marketing so after finishing my MBA I would like to work with the retail industry.

The brand that this company has is irreplaceable and the values and work culture in any of the Aditya Birla Group Companies are really good.
