Let difficulties know that you too are difficult.” Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli abbreviated as IIM Trichy justifies this quote. Right from its inception, it has shown how difficult IIM Trichy is. This second-generation IIM overcame all the roadblocks right from convincing students to take admission, making sure of the student facilities but at the same time ensuring the best education for the students.

The uniqueness of IIM Trichy lies in the fact that it has the highest growth rate among all the second -generation IIMs. It surpassed all the hurdles to such an extent that it ranks number 15 in the NIRF 2018 rankings. Which Aditya Birla Group company would you want to work for and why?

I would like to work for Grasim- Chemical company by Aditya Birla Group. Right from its inception in 1947, ABG has been a major player of different industries. Grasim is one such flagship company which focuses on the development of VSF, Chlor-alkalis, cement etc. I want to gain more insights as to how the strategy behind this industry works. My interest in this domain stems from the fact that I have some background in research and development in biotechnology. While my prior training in this field enables me to ask the right question at the right step at research and development part, I wish to study the much bigger picture and apply the concepts that I will be learning through the management studies.
