The Aditya Birla Group is a household name for all Indian millennials . There brands are a very important part of our everyday lives, so much so that we tend to forget how our life would be if we didn’t have these brands catering to our requirements. When I think of the Aditya Birla Group, I think of a few very important instances of my life.
The first one was in the summer of 2014. It was an exciting time in my life. I had just gotten over with my 10thstandard board exams and moved from the warm and sheltered life of Patiala to the hustle bustle of New Delhi. It was the time to discover new avenues, explore possibilities and step into what I thought was adulthood. Having lived a very sheltered and protected life so far, moving away from my family to a completely new place wasn’t easy, and while everyone falls in love with this city sooner or later, for a sixteen year old it is a daunting place. With the pressures of eleventh and twelfth academics and anxiety of living away from my loved ones, it was very important from me to stay connected to my support systems like my parents, siblings and friends. So this was the time that I got my first phone with a Idea network. Being connected to my family 24×7 made those initial days of separation much easier. Once I was settled in this new place, I started enjoying the experience of living alone and had built up a good circle of friends. Idea again proved to be a very important aid to ensure that my social life was thriving.
The next big change in my life came in the summer of 2019. I had finished my under graduation and turned into a complete ‘delhite’ in the last 5 years. I had grown to love the city and call it home. My last semester of college had me occupied in the preparation of the CAT exam and then interviewing for colleges. While I had never been the one to bother a lot about looks and appearances, the entire process taught me the importance of being sharply dressed and making a good first impression. Aditya Birla group again came to my rescue by providing me with a plethora of options for formal dressing. With brands like Van Huesen and Allen Solly I was well sorted for my interviews and walked in with a lot of confidence.
I got through one of the premier business schools in India and embarked on a new journey of MBA. As I prepared for moving into my hostel ABG was once again taking care of all my clothing needs. I got more formal cloths from the same brands knowing that during MBA, no amount of formal clothing would be enough. Pantaloons has been one the most trusted brand of my entire family, and I again leaned towards it to get the casual wear and classroom wear cloths. For the rare parties that we might have I also indulged myself a little and got a dress from forever 21.
Aditya Birla Group has been a part of all the big steps in my life and I am sure it would continue to do so in the future.
