Attention all student innovators! Have you heard of the KPMG Ideation Challenge (KIC)? It is an opportunity of a lifetime for students to showcase their talents on a global platform. Participants who present promising ideas stand a chance to get a PPI from KPMG. Winners make it all the way to Seoul, South Korea for the finals, and get a chance to bring their idea to life with USD50,000 seed funding. *This is a promoted feature. So, how do you register? Follow these steps and get a chance to participate in this global innovation challenge. Step 1: This step is a simple disclaimer. By clicking yes, you essentially allow KPMG to communicate with you throughout the course of this competition. By clicking no, you will be unable to participate. Step 2: This step includes entering all your details. Since the competition requires you to register in teams of three,  details of each individual member must be included. The following are all the details that have to be included.

   a. The first thing you need to do is decide on a team name. Since this is a competition between teams, all communication will be made to teams, and hence having a unique team name is important.
   b. The next are your details: Full name [first name and last name], Gender, Date of Birth [DD/MM/YYYY].
   c. Contact Details: Email ID and phone number. Please ensure that contact details of each member are correctly entered. Avoid entering the same number or email ID for all three members as that can cause confusion, and miscommunication.
   d. Name of the college/university you are enrolled in.
   e. Expected year of graduation [Note: This challenge is open for all undergraduates/Bachelor’s degree/post-graduate programmes, except for final year students.].

   f. Make sure the above details are filled for all three members before you hit NEXT   Step 3: Details of your Innovation One very important thing for any idea, innovation or product is the name. The brand is built on the name. So, make sure you title your idea in an attractive manner. Here, you have to explain who you intend to make this innovation for. Having clear target audience makes marketing and communication smooth. Make sure you are aware of your target audience, so you can effectively approach them. Here, you have to explain your idea in 350 words or less. The previous section was about your audience. This section is about the idea. Make sure you explain your idea as clearly as possible. This description is what you will build on, and further develop your idea from with the help of KPMG professionals.   One important part of the registration process is to explain your idea through a 90-second video. What you are expected to do is shoot a 90-second video of yourself and your team, where you explain in brief what your idea is. This step is an additional step to verify that your idea is in fact yours, and that no other team can copy/steal your idea. To ensure that your registration is complete, please make sure that you have filled all of the above details correctly. Missing out even one detail, or incorrectly entering your details will result in disqualification. If you have already registered, but are yet to fill some of the above mentioned details, do so at the earliest. The registration deadline has been extended to the 1st of December, 2019.  If you have any more queries, write to us at in-fmkicindia@kpmg.com Good luck!
