Life At IIM Calcutta And Gearing Up For An Online MBA || Live Interaction With IIM C Co' 22 Students

IIM Calcutta, one of the Holy Trinity B-Schools, has always been a dream B-School for the lakhs of aspirants appearing for CAT. Only a small percentage of the overall pool of students vying for a seat at IIM C finally end up securing a seat. So what is it that makes IIM C so special? Is it the beautiful campus? The pedagogy? Or is it the excellent placements? Moreover, how is life at IIM C? How do the brightest minds of the country spend their day at IIM Calcutta? To answer your questions, we have a few students from IIM Calcutta's Co' 2022 who will walk you through a typical day at IIM Calcutta, what is it that makes Joka so special, how has been their experience so far, albeit online. Speaker Details:

Speaker 1: Divyansh Khare
Divyansh Khare, a 2017 graduate of IIT Dhanbad , secured 99.90%ile in CAT’19 and joined IIM Calcutta after 2.5 years of work experience at Futures First Kolkata. At IIM Calcutta, he secured a summer internship at Bank of America Hong Kong and is Rank 4 among the CEMS’21 cohort and will be going on exchange to the University of St Gallen, Switzerland.

Speaker 2: Khayati Mittal
Khayati Mittal, an IITian with Institute Rank 8 at IIT(BHU) with a CGPA of 9.62, secured 99.33%ile in CAT'19 and joined IIM Calcutta. Worked at Texas Instruments for a year as Analog Engineer after achieving PPO in junior year in UG. At IIM Calcutta, she secured a summer internship at Bain & Co. Currently represents the top 10% of the batch in academics.

Speaker 3: Rohan Daga
Rohan Daga, an Institute Ranker of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, secured 99.93%ile in CAT’19 and joined IIM Calcutta after 1 year of work experience at JP Morgan. At IIM Calcutta, he secured a summer internship at McKinsey & Co and is part of CEMS’21 cohort from University of Cologne. He currently holds Institute Rank 8 at IIM Calcutta as well.

Speaker 4: Shivani Kabra
Shivani Kabra has joined Bain & Co. as Summer Associate Intern from IIM Calcutta. She secured Rank 5 among the CEMS’21 cohort and will be joining Esade Business School, Spain
She has prior experience of ~2years in Analytics Consulting with EXL Services Which she joined right after her under graduation from NIT Surat in 2018.

Speaker 5: Vedant Modi
Vedant Modi is an economics graduate from NMIMS who joinied IIM Calcutta as a fresher with 99.96%ile in CAT 2019. He is a member of 6 clubs on campus, a rapper in the college band and is currently the IR3. He will be interning at P&G in the brands role during the summer and attending Bocconi University in Milan as an exchange student in the 5th semester.
