What makes SJMSOM unique?
I think SJMSOM has, along with its carefully planned management curriculum, carved a niche for itself by offering an interdisciplinary learning advantage of IIT Bombay with the liveliness and energy of Mumbai and it is no surprise as to why it has become one of the most sought out B-Schools of India. I think many factors came into play and the top reason as to why I decided to join the MBA programme of SJMSOM was to explore potential business opportunities as an entrepreneur that IIT Bombay ecosystem had to offer. Being a mechanical engineer myself, proximity to mechanical workshops can surely be helpful plus any technological hurdle can be overcome by seeking valuable guidance from esteemed IIT Bombay teaching fraternity. The student talent pool of the whole campus is very valuable for forming a future business team
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
With fast changing consumer buying pattern, data analytics in retail has become almost ubiquitous in every corporate entity. Having been well versed in the technology side of things, especially data analytics, I think I’ll be able to contribute to and help the management of Aditya Birla Retail Ltd (ABRL) adapt to newer technologies which will help them to keep up with their competitors.
