B-Schools are categorized on the basis of Placement, Infrastructure, Location. We should also embrace the diversity it creates in every batch. CA, Photographer, Coder, Youth wing leader of a political party, Entrepreneurs, a Researcher we all stay under the single roof of IIM Raipur.
I was very excited to start my B-school journey. The inception of my journey started at IIM Raipur with the registration and room allocation. The best part of a college life is a hostel and a classroom. Classroom, mess, and hostels being in the same building block, IIM Raipur has a culture in which you will learn throughout the day and night waking up late, completing your assignments, discussing case studies, preparing plans for your participation in the business competition. It's been a month of my stay in this culture, and I am already having numerous memories.
The seniors even helped us at every step. We had ice breaking session with seniors and made us familiar with the functioning of the institute. We were excited to know about the clubs and committees and how they coordinate effectively in making this a student-driven institute.
All these experiences make IIM Raipur unique.
Which ABG company would I like to work for and why?
I wish to join Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited. Apparel Industry caters to the demands from all section of society ranging from upper class to the lower class. Being a marketing enthusiast and having an interest in fashion, the apparel industry will give me a wider perspective of the market and will help me in understanding it better. It is said that Fashion changes every minute making the apparel industry dynamic. This ABG company will give an immense learning experience. So, I would like to join the sector which covers a wide market and which works directly with the necessity of people.
