What if your b school professors are people who hold top positions with the likes of McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BCG, Nielson, and more? What if the CEOs of companies you want to work for are teaching you in classrooms? Perhaps the most important part of your MBA journey would be networking, and many professionals emphasize on this. In today's video, we have with us Pratham Mittal, co-founder of Outgrow, founder of the Neta App, and Project Director at Masters' Union School of Business. With him, we discuss the importance of industry connect at a b school, and how Masters' Union is trying out an experimental method of teaching by connecting their students directly with CEOs as professors.

*This is a promoted feature Pratham Mittal did his undergraduate from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. From there, he moved on to found Outgrow, an interactive content startup, as well as Neta App, a politician rating app. Having maintained his connections with his peers and professors, he made his way back to India, where they were setting up a unique business school idea. In this video, he talks at length about how important it is for students to constantly be in connection with the industry they want to build a career in. He says that Indian b schools shouldn't aspire to be as good as b schools abroad, but instead should aspire to be better. With that aim in mind, Masters' Union was born. The idea was to have top brass from the industry come and teach students, giving them invaluable insights into how the corporate world works. Not only is this a networking opportunity, but also an opportunity to get hands on experience. Pratham further explains how the O&SC students will get opportunities to visit actual ports and see how supply chain functions with their very own eyes. They will be taught by veterans who have worked with the best companies in the country and produced astounding results. If you're looking for a unique b school experience, you should check out Masters' Union. What do you think? Can CEOs make for good professors? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
