The series Panchayat has become very popular in a short span of time. And why shouldn't it? It traces the unique journey of an MBA aspirant across his job. There are many learnings from the series. Here are some for you to ponder over.
1. Prepare with a job simultaneously and find the managerial traits that are present in the job that can be used for interviews

2. There will be a thousand reasons stopping you from preparing well. Eliminate all those reasons. Desperation jitna jyada utna jyada prep
Abhishek is faced with a severe challenge in his CAT preparation. There in no electricity in the hours after office in his village. So what does Abhishek do? Does he say that “Yaar, kaise padhu and go to sleep”. No, he masterfully tackles the situation and gets a solar light installed in his office to study in the nighttime.
(How he does it is better left for the show !)
3. Till you remain in India, there will be people who will always judge you on your salary. PS-Marriage is tied to it :P
In an incident in the show, the head of the village decides against attempting to marry his daughter to Abhishek due to a low salary. But once he comes to know of the potential of an IIM job, he starts to see Abhishek as a prospective groom. However debatable this process is; one needs to accept its presence in India. That’s why IIM zindabaad.
4. Even the most difficult questions can be solved if you put your mind to it.
In an iconic scene, Abhishek is asked to do the difficult questions that he left out in his first run of preparation. And this time around, with an intense bout of thinking, is able to solve the questions. Which is very necessary for CAT aspirants. THINK! THINK HARD!
5. Forget the past.
In one part of the show, it can be shown that Abhishek is frustrated with his past. The same is with every aspirant.
I have bad academics. I have no extra-curricular activities. I’m not from a tier-one college. Leave these thoughts behind and aim for the finest percentile you can get.
6. Never give up. Surround yourself with people who believe in you. And it's going to be difficult. So yes, better start enjoying the journey!
7. This exam is going to put you down. You will question yourself 100 times. Maybe it was your destiny to be mediocre.
No. IT ISN'T. There are 100 stories of people doing the impossible and making it to their dream college.
In the series. Abhishek doesn't get his desired score. And he resigns to being stuck in a mediocre job his entire life. And he blames his mind and destiny for it.
But also gets motivated again soon enough. And so should you!
