Full - Time MBA - NMIMS

Admission Procedure - To get admission into NMIMS for MBA, it is mandatory to appear for NMAT. The shortlisted candidates are then called for case discussion and personal interview. NMIMS also prefers candidates with 2 or more years of work experience.

Alumni Involvement - Alumni Relations Cell at NMIMS actively organises events and guest lectures where current students get to interact with the alumni.
Student Committees - The student council is the umbrella body with multi-functional cells and clubs. It’s not mandatory for all students to join these committees but all the students aspire to be a part of them.
Exchange Program - NMIMS has collaborated with various universities like Athens University, Harvard, Euromed Marseille, Ecole De Management, ESSCA, ESC Rouen France, Grenoble Ecole De Management, Case Western Reserve University, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, etc. for exchange programs and other development programs.
Events & Fests - Paragana and Euphoria are the major fests that are organised by the students. TEDxNMIMS is an informative event where they invite esteemed speakers from different walks of life.
Infrastructure - NMIMS campus is in the heart of Mumbai. It also provides two full-fledged hostels and 4 rented residential accommodations close to the college. Since it’s not a residential program, many students opt for other options of accommodation. Hostels have an excellent infrastructure with gym, sports and hygienic mess. The college facilities include sports lounge, a beautiful atrium with a piano, a library, well-equipped classrooms, a canteen which has diverse cuisines.
Summer Internship - To build the bridge between theory and practice, students are required to spend 6 – 8 weeks on a summer project between the 1st and the 2nd year of the full – time MBA programme. These projects carry 100 marks, which become part of the 4th trimester grades
Entrepreneurship - NMIMS has an Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) that aims to create Entrepreneurial Leaders of tomorrow. The E-Cell conducts various workshops, events, competitions and Entrepreneurship forums. It also acts as a platform between the Industry and our Students.

Harvard Partnership - NMIMS has a partnership with the Harvard Business School for a Faculty Development Programme and has nominated faculties to participate in the HBS Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning Programme at the Harvard University, Boston, USA. Also, the India Site License Agreement signed with Harvard Business School Publishing ensures electronic access to HBSP materials.
We Care: Civic Engagement Programme - It's a mandatory program where MBA students are placed in various public and private sector socially oriented organizations at pan India and international level to work on various social issues and handle specific projects in the areas of education, health, energy, sanitation, microfinance, micro-entrepreneurship, disaster management, resource mobilization & management and other areas.
PGDM - SPJIMR
Fees - 16,00,000 (This fee includes tuition fee, basic hostel/ accommodation and Global Fast Track. It does not include cost of travel, boarding, lodging, visa, insurance and incidentals for Global Fast Track.)
Total intake - 240 intake with additional 36 seats sanctioned for PIO/OCI and foreign nationals.
Admission procedure - SPJIMR accepts CAT, XAT and GMAT scores. In the first round of selection, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of entrance scores and academic profile. Work experience is not mandatory and they accept fresh graduates and those with up to 5 years of work experience.

Alumni Involvement - The AlCom (Alumni Committee) of SPJIMR is responsible for engaging with alumni for various events. They organise multiple formal and informal interactions between alumni and current batch throughout the year. They also organise the Annual Alumni Meet along with reunions.
Student Committees - There are 15 - 20 committees working in different areas such as placements, cultural, social awareness, etc. and it’s mandatory for all the students to be a part of such committees.
Exchange Program - IntEx (International Exposure) Program in the second year send students on an exchange program to countries like Japan, USA, etc. Students from Germany, France, Singapore and other foreign universities come to SPJIMR on an exchange program. This exchange ranges from 1 week to a semester and gives students a cross-cultural experience.
The Global Fast Track (GFT) is a mandatory program that enables students to travel to top b-schools in the USA for a 3-week course, related to their specialisation.
Events & Fests - PGDM students have an option to participate in Ojas (cultural fests) and SPrint (sports fest). GASP (Guild of Actors at SPJIMR) is an annual event where students volunteer to produce a play. It’s a student-driven event.
Infrastructure - SPJIMR is spread over 45 acres in Mumbai. It’s one of the few institutes in Mumbai with a huge campus. The campus is equipped with modern classrooms, library, IT lab, sports facilities, cafeterias, botanical garden, playgrounds, amphitheatre, open-air theatre and a lake. Since it’s a part of Bhavan’s campus, students get to interact with students from other programs as well. The campus is located opposite famous Andheri Sports Club and has tied up with the club so the students can access facilities like squash room, swimming pool, etc.
Autumn Internship - SPJIMR is probably the only b-school that has autumn internship program instead of a summer internship program. Unlike summer internship students, SPJIMR students go for internships after choosing their specialisation. The students sit for the interviews with companies and profile and profile that they are interested in. Also, by the time they go for their internship, they have studied a few subjects related to the specialisation and hence, are more prepared. This is also an opportunity for them to execute their theoretical knowledge at work.
Entrepreneurship - The SPJIMR’s Start-Up Incubation Centre is open to all the faculty, alumni & participants of relevant courses at SPJIMR. This centre is a founding member of NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network) and Start Your Business (SYB) and Grow Your Business (GYB) programmes along with generating over 70 start-ups so far.
USP - Their NCL (Non-Classroom Learning) program is designed to ensure a holistic development of the students. The NCL includes the following -
- Abhyudaya - In this program, every student is assigned a mentee (called sitara) who is an underprivileged child in the city. Every month the student has to visit their sitara’s home, interact with their families, help them with their studies, extra-curricular activities and groom their personalities. Apart from 12 visits, the mentor and mentee also participate together in sports competitions and painting events organised by the students.
- ADMAP - The ADMAP (Assessment & Development of Managerial and Administrative Potential) course aims to create leaders who can get things done. ADMAP assigns students into different committees that provide support to institute’s administration.
- DOCC - Students have to intern with a Non-Governmental Organisation for 4 weeks at the end of the first year. These NGOs can be anywhere across the country. Some students also intern at NGOs in Nepal and Colombia.
- PG-Lab (Personal Growth Lab) - This lab is usually conducted in Lonavala where students take various psychometric tests and have sessions with counsellors. The aim is to be aware of your own strengths and weaknesses. This help students to be more self-aware.
- Science of Spirituality - Here, the students learn practices of meditation that will help them relax and remain calm.
