1 - After IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore Becomes The 2nd IIM To Change Admission Criteria For Their MBA Program (00:35)
IIM Indore put out an official statement regarding a significant change in the admission criteria for the MBA batch of 2022 that appeared for CAT 2019. This makes the institute the 2nd IIM to do so, after IIM Lucknow also announced similar changes in April 2020.
2 - Top IIMs Release Final Admission Shortlist For Flagship MBA Programs (01:35)
IIM Kozhikode, IIM Calcutta, IIM Shillong, and IIM Rohtak have all released the final shortlists for their MBA programs. The results for the Common Admission Process (CAP) for new and baby IIMs are also due. But one top business school—counted amongst India's top 5 MBA colleges—has not even begun the GD-PI process yet!

The IIMs have had to adapt to the Coronavirus crisis by taking their courses online. IIM Sambalpur has now announced that it'll become one of the first IIMs to conduct examinations for its first year students online, and the institute will do it in a hi-tech fashion!

As companies like Uber and Gartner cancel job offers, and highly valued companies lay off their current employees while announcing company-wide pay cuts to cut losses due to the Coronavirus, Goldman Sachs has announced that it will honor all 1460 job and internship offers it has made to Indian graduates. Asian Paints, India's biggest paint maker, has gone on to increase their employees' salaries instead of reducing them.
5. MBA Students At Top Global Business Schools Demand Partial Refund of Tuition Fees (03:28)
As MBA programs across the world go online, current MBA students now feel that the essence of an MBA—on campus learning, networking, and in-person teaching by faculty—has been lost. Now, MBA students at HBS, Stanford, Columbia, Wharton, etc. have written to their Deans, asking them to partially refund their tuition fees.
