Converted calls from a top b-school? What's next? Ab toh life set hai na? Not even close, buddy. Not to scare you or anything, you are going to be in for the busiest time of your life. Also, the most important two years of your life. These two years determine your career. It's time to take charge of your career now. Here's what you can do.
First,
narrow down your options. What is it that you want to be? Do you want to be a brand manager? A consultant? An investment banker? Interested in operations? HR manager? What is your interest area? Confused? Not an issue. You have the luxury to explore at this stage.*
Second,
Research on all companies that come to your b-school to recruit. This will ensure that when it's time for Summer Placements (which by the way would be soon after you join your b-school), you have an adequate amount of information on each company and you make a well-informed decision. Choose companies based on their culture, on the growth prospects, values that match with your own and are in line with your career objective.
Third,
speak to your seniors. Read up on life at the b-school as much as you can. This will ensure that you don't feel lost on campus. You are prepared for anything and everything that comes your way. Of course, there'll always be something unexpected that comes up and reading other's experiences is not the same as experiencing it yourself.
Fourth,
Keep an open mind towards everything.
