January. New year. New hopes. New laurels. New awards! Meet InsideIIM's Best 30 for the class of 19-21! Drumroll please and all that! Yes, you heard it right. This year, we once again floated the best 30 survey across b-schools. Our goal? To recognise the most employable graduates that recruiters would be proud to collect! We once again asked them questions about their most selfless acts, their most debilitating experiences, how they handled conflicts, what do they excel at, how would they spend a corpus of 10 Mn USD, etc. Once again we got some beautiful answers and some d'uh ones. Conquering ones fears. Battling COVID 19 to successfully earn a PPO and get a job. Learning a new skill and getting out of ones' comfort zone. Fighting depression. Thus were born the Best 30 - The Most Employable Graduates of The Class of 2019-21. In this article, we bring you a list of all their stories. Check out stories of supporting peers and mentoring peers, staring non profits and charities, helping house felp with retirement funds, struggling to juggle multiple exams, competitions, etc. at once, dealing with family problems, giving up on personal goals to live more meaningfully, and many more emotional, beautiful stories of what makes one exceptional!

Niharika was one of the lucky few who found her calling directly post-graduation. She loved marketing and worked in B2B marketing, successfully climbing the corporate ladder to win accolades. But this is where Niharika’s story veers from the norm. On the cusp of getting a leadership position, Niharika decided to leave it all in order to crack the CAT and pursue an MBA. This IIM Lucknow student managed to intern with HUL and won a PPI with Colgate Palmolive in her first year! From Being Bottom 10 In Finance To Handling A Finance Project At BCG | Samarth, MDI Gurgaon
Samarth Singh Gahlot did not really like finance. But he managed to work successfully as a consultant and landed a PPO with BCG post his summer internship. He also, interestingly, found reading and working with financial statements dreadfully boring and frightening. But now he trades in Futures & Options post investing his Stipend and receiving 82% returns. Then there’s the bit about him helping his family’s driver to set up a retirement home, financial plan and income source. Makes for very interesting reading - this story!
