Dr. Sanjay Dhir is IIT Delhi’s Professor Of The Year 2021! With more than 12 years of industry, research, and teaching experience, Prof. Dhir is the Associate Professor of Strategic Management at DMS IIT Delhi. Meet Sanjay Dhir: Professor At IIT Delhi & InsideIIM's Professor of The Year In 2021
A Ph.D. fellow from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Dr. Sanjay Dhir holds a deep interest in Strategic Management, Joint Ventures, Innovation Management, Management of Change and Transformation, Implementation Strategy and International Strategy. At IIT Delhi, apart from being an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management, he is also the Chairman of Alumni Relations.
In the past, Prof. Dhir has worked at the R&D Department of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (Automotive) for three and a half years. He has also been involved in several consulting and research projects with stakeholders such as the Ministry of HRD, Ministry of Minority Affairs, ICSSR, Integrated Child Development Services Bihar, National Skill Development Corporation, Bihar Prashashnik Sudhaar Mission, and Directorate General of Supplies & Disposals, New Delhi. Prof. Dhir has been a core committee member of the Government of India’s project – ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan’. He has also been awarded AGBA Fellow 2014 by Academy for Global Business Advancement, USA.
Prof. Dhir has published several research papers in leading international journals including case studies at Richard Ivey School of Business, Western Ontario jointly distributed by Ivey and Harvard Business School. His research papers have been published in reputed journals in Scopus (45 Scopus Indexed) and ABDC listed journals (Category A and B Journals). He has also presented and published in conference proceedings at several prestigious academic conferences such as Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, Strategic Management Society, Southern Management Association and British Academy of Management.
