Your tie is a very critical aspect as it reflects onto your face. Colour options are blue, red or yellow. Stay away from cartoons or loud prints. Keep the paisley designs for the older men. This is not the time to express your style through your tie. Stay as conservative as possible. Make sure the tie is in a full/half Windsor knot and set firmly on the centre of your collar. If you are still wearing a pre stitched tie, you aren't old enough to get a job. Get a professor or a friend to tie the knot a few days before the interview if you don't know how. The tip of the tie should touch the top of your belt buckle.
Your shoes, belt and watch strap should match in colour, finish and texture. Polish your formal shoes to remove all the scuff marks. The belt buckle and watch should be very simple, not flashy.
Please leave the backpacks and laptop bags at home. Get a simple black docket to carry your essentials.
Strictly no rings, religious symbols, threads, necklaces etc
Your hair should be neatly trimmed short in a conservative style. Avoid oiling or brylcreem, instead use a matte good quality hair wax to set your hair.
If you have a beard, there is no need to shave, but do make sure it's neatly trimmed and not unkempt.
After you shower, do not forget to use deodorant, avoid using perfumes as a lot of people are allergic.
Avoid eating after you brush your teeth, stick to drinking water. This also calms you down.
NO CHEWING GUM or PAAN or MASALA
Your nails should be cut short and kept clean
Make sure there are no ironing or laundry marks on your suit.
