The School of Business Management (SBM) at NMIMS Mumbai has successfully completed the final placement process for the MBA batch of 2022. This year, top brands like American Express, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), GE, Accenture, EY, PwC, Google, Microsoft, and others participated in the 2022 NMIMS MBA placements process. In terms of salaries, NMIMS Mumbai saw a notable 25 percent uptick in the average salary offered, while the highest salary offered increased by two-thirds. - The highest salary stood at INR 57.65 lakhs, offered for a Marketing role and increasing by an impressive 66 percent over the previous year
- The average salary stood at INR 23.07 lakhs, increasing by 25 percent over the previous year
- The average of the top-50 offers stood at INR 35.03 lakhs, and the average of the top-120 offers stood at INR 30.16 lakhs
- The average of the top-180 offers stood at INR 28.29 lakhs, and the average of the top-240 offers stood at INR 27 lakhs
- The highest salary for the Marketing domain stood at INR 57.65 lakhs, INR 32 lakhs for the Finance domain, and INR 28.5 lakhs each for the Operations and Data Science, and General Management domains
NMIMS MBA Placements 2022 - Key Recruitment Highlights
- A total of 130 recruiters participated in the final placement process at SBM-NMIMS Mumbai, including 38 new recruiters and 64 Fortune 500 companies
- 36 percent of all offers extended came from the BFSI sector, 27 percent from the Consulting sector, and 14 percent from the IT, Pharma, Media & Telecom sectors
- 10 percent of all offers extended were from the Consumer Goods/Durables sector, 8 percent from the startups and companies in the Ecommerce and logistics sectors, and 5 percent from the Auto, Conglomerate, Manufacturing, Power, Oil and Gas sectors
- 29 percent of the batch received pre-placement offers (PPOs)

Companies in the BFSI sector offered niche roles such as Advisory and Ratings, Audit, Compliance & Retail Banking, Corporate Treasury Associate, Financial Operations Analyst, Global Markets Analyst, Investment Banking Analyst, Leadership, Programs, Product Manager, and Risk to the MBA-Core students at NMIMS Mumbai.
Within the Consulting sector, companies like McKinsey & Company, Bain Capability Network, PwC, Avasant, and FinIQ recruited for profiles like Associate Consultant, Business Consulting, Product Management, Project Management Associate, Senior Analyst and Technology Consultant across the verticals.
Conglomerates like Reliance Industries Limited, GE Healthcare, and Mahindra offers roles in leadership programs such as Reliance Emerging Leaders Program, Mahindra Rise Group Management Cadre and multiple leadership programs from General Electric.
