B school life can be very stressful for some. At times, students can feel overwhelmed with their projects, classes and all the other added responsibilities that come with their life in a b school. Many students move cities, experiencing hostel life for the first time. If they aren’t able to cope with these changes, they tend to get demotivated. What can you do to deal with all this? If you’re unable to juggle all these things, it doesn’t mean that you never will. Stress, anxiety, depression are all a part of life. The best way to deal with them is to talk about it. In this video, we spoke to Prof. Navodita Mishra, Prof. Sasmita Giri, Prof. Shaji Kurian and student Kratika Mishra, who speak of this unique culture and how it benefits students.
IFIM Bangalore, having recognised the importance of helping students deal with stress, have inculcated a very thoughtful thing in their campus. They encourage students to speak with their professors openly, share their problems and seek help whenever they need. In doing so, they provide the students with a homely environment where they feel comfortable and welcome. The students can approach their professors freely, without hesitation. They have created for their student, a culture of support that only enhances their experience in the b school. Watch this video for more details.
