Pratyush Giri from Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay, is one of the 50 Most Employable MBA Graduates from the Class of 2025. Growing up as the child of an army officer, Pratyush lived in 16 different cities across India, gaining unparalleled exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives. This dynamic upbringing nurtured his adaptability, cross-cultural communication skills, and ability to thrive in ever-changing environments—traits that have defined his success. Academically, Pratyush excelled as a school topper and later pursued mechanical engineering at NITK Surathkal, where he held leadership positions, including President of the Students' Council for a 5,000+ student campus. Pratyush’s entrepreneurial journey began with Wheels on Roll, a campus-based cycle rental startup. Addressing a local transportation challenge, Pratyush led a team to onboard over 500 unique customers, generating revenue of ₹9 lakh. Recognized in the Elevate100, his work exemplified his knack for innovation and problem-solving. Simultaneously, he honed his corporate acumen at ExxonMobil, managing a $100M portfolio and resolving distributor conflicts to exceed sales targets by 133%. His ability to uphold ethical standards while negotiating complex contracts demonstrated his conviction and integrity. From initiating impactful student initiatives at NITK to securing funding for the Students' Council at IIT Bombay despite budgetary constraints, Pratyush has consistently transformed challenges into opportunities. His leadership extends beyond business, with community-focused efforts through the Rotaract Club and mentoring roles that have left a lasting impact.
