Overcoming The Challenges

Nobody sets out with a plan to fail, but so often obstacles get in the way of our success. Over the years I have identified that there will be few obstacles which may hamper my growth and to overcome these obstacles and to achieve big, I follow a 3 step approach, given below :

• Welcoming the difficult task – Which others think that can not be done. I believe Struggle builds character and often the moments in our life we are most proud of are the ones where we overcame adversity to accomplish something worthwhile. I like to the difficult task as it pushes my limits and it makes me feel unstoppable and hence, I am able to complete the task
• Working in a team - While I was preparing for my MBA entrance test – I had to manage both my office work and my preparation and it was very challenging as I had to devout 12-15 hours daily in my office so to continue my preparation in the right way – I build my study team (I identified people around me who are preparing for the exams ) and we made a study group which minimized the time required to complete our daily tasks to be done for exam
• Focusing on Positives - We are all conditioned with what psychologist’s call “The Negativity Bias.” Unfortunately, our brain has a natural inclination to focus on threats and dangers, even perceived ones we create. To destroy this, I always focused on the what is positive in the situation to destroy this evolutionary construct, throughout your day focus on what is positive and right about the world around you. Find reasons to appreciate everything around you.

How Aditya Birla Group is big in my life

Aditya Birla group is one brand name which I have been hearing since my childhood. Truly said, ABG touches millions of lives in the world. Since childhood I have been wearing clothes from Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England. That's where I had been going to shop from all these years, because I trust the quality of products and customer service. As I am from Delhi and there is lot of construction and infrastructure development going on – I saw many of these sites did use UltraTech brand for construction. Now, anywhere I look around me, I see ABG products. I have been using so many products of ABG, so many brands, without consciously realizing that they are all from the same parent company. I knew ABG group was huge, but not until I researched about it a few months back, out of curiosity about the Grasim Limited, it is world 4^th largest producer of insulators.  If seen from an observational point of view, ABG is present everywhere around me. My day starts and ends with the products of Aditya Birla Group. When I wake up, I switch on my mobile phone – the cover glass that is from Hindalco limited and the network I use is provided by Aditya Birla only (Vodafone Idea Cellular). Then the clothes I wear are for my formal meetings and presentations are from Van Heusen, which again is Aditya Birla’s brand. And for all my parties and functions I get my clothes from Planet Fashion, which offers me wide range of items to choose from. The food I eat was prepared from the groceries my family got from More, the supermarket, was founded as a retail subsidiary of ABG. So many things around me like viscose staple fibre, metals, viscose filament yarn, carbon black, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, BPO and IT services that are all a part of Aditya Birla group. Its presence in my life is truly massive.
