RAFTING THROUGH RIVER OF LIFE-Pratham Khanna, NMIMS Mumbai

“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.” I have had such storms throughout my 24 years span that I live my life by the quotation that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% on how we react to it. Everyone has ambitions, but you don’t get them served in the plate. One needs to strive and indeed strive hard to achieve them. I have had my own share of challenges but so far I have overcome them. There was a time when I could not utter a word in front of audience and would stand blank but the Toastmasters club helped me in a big deal in overcoming this fear. Missing out on things by not attempting them thinking I would fail was a personality trait that I had for quite a long time. However, when faced with extremely tough situations and there is a survival of the fittest question at hand, then you go for a half-hearted attempt. Although situations like these do take the fear out of you, you finally decide to confront them some day. Today, after so many efforts I don’t think twice before going for an attempt and I am happy with the change I have gone through. The never give up attitude is what I relate myself to today. Be it academics or extra-curricular activities, there were hindrances always. I attempted for a good B-school three years on a trot failing on all occasions but this did not pull me down, but each time my scores were better and eventually I cracked it and made it to a good B-school.  This is what I have learnt from my experiences that to never back out once I am afraid of something .Using my mistakes as a part of long learning curve and taking important inputs from them. Also I always  kept an open mindedness to feedbacks which I believe has got me where I am currently. #NMIMSMumbai #ABGLPWooMe
