Saiyam Jain’s journey to IIM Lucknow is a story of academic excellence, professional achievement, and a passion for leadership. Graduating with a Bachelor's in Commerce from the University of Delhi, Saiyam ranked 13th in his batch, laying a strong foundation in business and finance. This academic prowess was further sharpened by two years at Deloitte USI, where he excelled as a Senior Associate, earning the prestigious High Flyer and Spot Awards for outstanding performance. During his tenure at Deloitte, Saiyam managed complex audits for multinational clients, identifying discrepancies worth over $20 million and saving one client $11 million in potential fines. These accomplishments reflect his sharp analytical skills, ethical integrity, and commitment to excellence. A stint at Red Fort Capital as a Private Equity Intern further broadened his perspective, where he played a pivotal role in building a ₹1,000 Cr+ vehicle financing loan book, expanding into untapped markets, and driving a fivefold revenue boost. Beyond his corporate achievements, Saiyam has always been a leader in the social impact space. As Head of Finance for Connecting Dreams Foundation (CDF), he spearheaded initiatives to create sustainable income streams for slum women, mentoring them in budgeting and pricing. Under his leadership, these efforts impacted over 100 women, earning him a Letter of Recommendation from the CDF India Director. Saiyam also established partnerships with underprivileged shelter homes, demonstrating his empathy and commitment to uplifting marginalized communities. At IIM Lucknow, Saiyam is honing his strategic thinking and leadership skills. A dynamic contributor to group projects and case competitions, he seamlessly combines his technical expertise with a collaborative approach to solve complex business challenges. His ethical leadership was evident during a group project where he resisted shortcuts and rallied his team to complete the task with originality, reinforcing his belief in the importance of integrity. Saiyam’s ability to mentor and inspire others is another defining quality. Whether guiding new hires at Deloitte or mentoring visually impaired CAT aspirants, he has demonstrated patience, empathy, and an ability to adapt his approach to individual needs. His work has consistently fostered growth in those around him, reflecting his commitment to collective success. A balanced individual, Saiyam also devotes time to volunteering and community work. His long-term association with the Earth Saviours Foundation, where he organized donation drives and improved living conditions for residents, highlights his deep-seated values of compassion and giving back. Saiyam’s journey is defined by resilience, adaptability, and a drive to create meaningful impact. With a diverse set of experiences spanning corporate excellence, social entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership, he is poised to make significant contributions in his MBA journey and beyond.
