The average salary increased by 15%, standing at 26.63 lakhs. 148 companies, including leading brands including Microsoft, Google, TAS, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Salesforce, Samsung, ITC, Accenture, and IBM (amongst many others) participated in the placements process at NMIMS. - The average of the top-10% offers stood at INR 40.41 lakhs, and that of the top-20% stood at INR 36.50 lakhs
- The average of the top-30% offers stood at INR 34.39 lakhs, and that of the top-40% stood at INR 32.53 lakhs
- The highest salary for the Marketing domain stood at INR 57.78 lakhs, INR 42 lakhs for the Finance domain, and INR 36.32 lakhs for Operations and Data Science, and INR 67.80 lakhs for General Management

Key recruitment highlights from SBM-NMIMS's final placements report
- A total of 148 recruiters participated in the final placement process for the MBA batch; this included 52 new recruiters and 84 Fortune 500 companies
- 35 percent of all offers extended came from the BFSI sector, 22 percent from the Consulting sector, and 15 percent from the IT, Pharma, Media & Telecom sectors
- 13 percent of all offers extended were from the Consumer Goods/Durables sector, 5 percent from the startups and companies in the Ecommerce and logistics sectors, and 10 percent from the Auto, Conglomerate, Manufacturing, Power, Oil and Gas sectors
- 36 percent of the batch was placed through pre-placement offers (PPOs)

NMIMS Placements 2023 - Sector-wise recruiters at NMIMS in 2023 (MBA Core)
Companies in the BFSI sector offered niche roles such as Investment Banking Analyst, Investment Research Analyst and Financial Operations Analyst. Students were also offered a host of prestigious roles in the areas of Corporate Risk, Private Wealth Management, Working Capital Requirement, Retail Banking, Product Management, Digital Banking Sales, Corporate Banking and Equity Product and Research.
Prominent consulting firms recruited students for roles such as Management Consultant, Strategy Consultant, Technology Consulting Analyst, Financial Consultant, Senior Implementation Facilitator.
FMCG and FMCD companies offered prestigious leadership programmes like Tata Consumer Products' Emerging Leaders Plus, STRIDE program at ABFRL, and Whirlpool's Young Leaders Program to the graduating MBA batch at NMIMS Mumbai.
Prominent startups offered coveted profiles including Product Manager, Program Manager and Account Manager.
