Shaurya Dwivedi is a pragmatic person who loves to take challenges. He is born and bought in the City Beautiful - Chandigarh. He has completed his Bachelor's of Commerce from Panjab University in the year 2022. Shaurya has a formal work experience of 9 months as a credit manager in the ICICI Bank. He also an accomplished Badminton player and is now pursuing the game as a hobby. Shaurya Dwivedi adopts a problem-solving approach that involves understanding the problem, identifying its root cause, and taking calculated decisions. He illustrates this with a complex decision he made about pursuing badminton at a national level versus focusing on academics. After thorough analysis, he chose to leave badminton and pursue it as a hobby. Handling failure involves taking time for self-care, venting out emotions, and giving thought to the worst-case scenario. Shaurya then accepts the impact, gains confidence, and analyzes the problem to find ways to mitigate the damage. In a workplace ethical dilemma at ICICI Bank, Shaurya faced pressure to underwrite a loan proposal with questionable details. Despite pressure from seniors, he stood firm in his ethical stance, presenting facts and figures to his boss and refusing to fund the client. As the Director of Community Services at the Rotaract Club of SD College, Shaurya successfully negotiated with internal and external stakeholders for a large-scale fundraiser fest. His approach involved thorough preparation, consideration of feedback, and confident decision-making. Shaurya believes he deserves recognition as one of India's Most Promising Incoming MBA Students 2023 due to his academic excellence, participation in extra and co-curricular activities, sports achievements at the national level, active involvement in social work, and demonstrated leadership qualities in leading teams of varying sizes during college.
