Shubham from SPJIMR Mumbai is one of the 50 most employable MBA graduates from the class of 2025. His story is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and the pursuit of meaningful impact—scroll down to discover Shubham’s inspiring journey in his own words.

Shubham’s journey is defined by his ability to turn setbacks into stepping stones. During his academic career, he excelled in both academics and sports, scoring over 90% in his 10th-grade exams and over 95% in his 12th-grade exams, while competing in U-16 state athletics and basketball nationals. However, facing challenges during the competitive engineering entrance exams, he learned the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and resilience. This approach not only helped him secure a top-tier placement but also earned him ten professional awards and a fast-track promotion.

One of Shubham’s most impactful initiatives was co-founding an NGO to address educational and farming challenges in underserved communities. He spearheaded initiatives that provided educational materials to over 500 children and introduced sustainable farming techniques for local farmers. His success stemmed from meticulous planning, building community trust, and a commitment to adaptability, ensuring the project’s long-term impact. In the corporate arena, Shubham’s leadership during a high-stakes e-commerce launch at Publicis Sapient showcased his ability to manage diverse stakeholders across time zones. By implementing structured communication strategies and fostering trust, he reduced the average launch time by 50%, delivering exceptional results for the client. Integrity has been a cornerstone of Shubham’s professional journey. When faced with pressure to compromise on quality testing for a tight deadline, he stood firm, advocating for transparency and collaboration. This approach not only preserved the client’s trust but also strengthened team morale. As a mentor in SPJIMR’s “Abhyudaya” program, Shubham supported underprivileged students, using innovative methods like YouTube videos and interactive tools to improve their confidence and skills. His empathetic approach helped mentees navigate challenges and set clear paths for their futures. Shubham’s story reflects his unwavering dedication to excellence, his ability to inspire others, and his commitment to making a meaningful difference—qualities that make him an exceptional and employable MBA graduate.
