There are a lot of factors that make SJMSOM unique. Be it the small batch size and strong bonding among batchmates or the experience of learning alongside the brightest minds in Engineering and Sciences- the opportunities for development are endless. Apart from all possible activities that can take place in a B-school, the students can actively participate in IIT Bombay events, fests and contests. Even the IIT-B clubs and team memberships are up for grabs for the management students.
All play and no work makes Jack a dull boy. The IIT campus has world-class sport facilities like Lawn tennis court, Indoor badminton court, Olympic sized swimming pool, cricket and football field etc. It is to say the least that one is spoilt for choices. Lastly, I would like to mention the lush green campus, the presence of a lake and our very own trekking spot inside, which makes the 2 years of stay worthwhile.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
As an operations and supply chain enthusiast, I would like to work for Aditya Birla Retail Limited. Since there is very little stickiness for FMCG goods, getting it on the shelf in the least time possible and quick replenishment is essential to achieve sales. I would like to learn the intricacies and complexities of such supply chain systems. The ‘more’ brand has been growing exponentially and I would like to see it expand into towns and villages where there is a huge untapped potential. Thus, I see Aditya Birla retail to be an ideal match to my interests and would love to work for the same if given an opportunity.
