SNAP 2022 Slot 1 got concluded on 10th December 2022. Following the same pattern as last year, SNAP 2022 had 60 questions to be attempted in 60 minutes. The paper was divided into three sections General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. SNAP 2022 Analysis Slot 1: General English
The General English section has stuck to the paper pattern followed in SNAP 2021. There were no reading comprehension questions which saved a lot of time. The maximum questions were in grammar and fill-in-the-blanks. According to the experts at Career Launcher, a good student is expected to answer all the questions or almost all the questions in about 8 to 10 minutes. A good score in this section would be 10 marks. As per IMS analysis, since the section was overall easy, one could attempt 13 or 14 questions with high accuracy in about 13 or 14 minutes.
SNAP 2022 Analysis Slot 1: Analytical & Logical Reasoning
This section is completely unlike that of CAT or XAT and one would find the areas such as letter series, number series, blood relations, input-output, and such types in Analytical Reasoning. This section had 12 and 13 questions of analytical and logical reasoning questions respectively. According to Career Launcher, candidates can aim for a score of 18-19 to get a good percentile in this section. As per the experts at IMS, overall this section was of medium difficulty level. A good strategy would be to attempt around 18-19 questions in 24-26 minutes.
SNAP 2022 Analysis Slot 1: Quantitative, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency
While this section is named, Quantitative, Data Interpretation (DI), and Data Sufficiency (DS), there were only two questions in DI and no question in DS. As per Career Launcher, this section was easy to moderate in terms of the level of difficulty. A good score for Slot 3 QA section would be 12 to 14. As per IMS, a good strategy would be to attempt around 12 to 13 questions in 20-22 minutes.
