Preparation – Self-study Vs. Coaching

A. This was my first attempt at CAT and initially, I did not have high hopes for this year and was just testing the waters. So I started preparing on my own in August 2019 after filling out the CAT form. I believe the choice between coaching and self-study depends on how each individual prepares for anything. I have always preferred self-study because it allows me to prepare the most adaptive, agile and customized plan for myself. I did not have enough time to go through the study materials and notes that I arranged from friends so I started right away with Mocks. That turned out to be a great decision as on Day 1, I knew where I stood and what kind of questions I need to focus on the most.
