Hi, Tell us about how you got selected for this internship? Take us through the moment you realized you had got the internship.
I was selected for the internship through the institute conducted summer placement process. It was considered as one of the most coveted recruiters by the students, so I was elated to find out that I had made it. Also the beverages industry was something that I was extremely passionate about so that added to the happiness.
On joining the company as an intern, how has your onboarding experience been like?
Despite the onboarding being done in a virtual capacity it was a very smooth process. The company culture being very warm, friendly and extremely open the process was fulfilled. Additionally we were given a lot of welcome goodies which was very exciting for me. The whole induction process was very well planned out and comprehensive thus in no time we were brought up to speed with all the people and processes.
How has your interaction with the team members and colleagues been like? How will you make sure to leave the best impression on your supervisors by the end of the internship?
The company has a very open culture where as an intern I have been given the opportunity to reach senior leaders and my immediate supervisors alike.Team members are always willing to connect on one on one basis and help in any way they can. The interaction so far has been very fruitful and new ideas and perspectives have been more than welcome. Also all relevant channels and contacts have been provided for easy and effective communication.
Tell us in brief, about the project you are currently working on and how is this project going to help the company?
The project that I am currently working on is all about enhancing employee engagement and the overall experience in general. It involves analysis of the Diversity & Inclusion quotient of the company and finally devising an action plan as to how the analysis will be used to improve the D&I index and various other KPIs for the benefit of the company and the employees.
This project will help the organisation in terms of increasing their D&I parameters which will finally translate to financial gains and enhanced overall performance.
