1 screening test, 1 GD, 3 rounds of interviews, and there I was. As the old adage goes, 'Victory tastes sweet', as it was when the selection mail poured in.
It's often said - Crisis leads to an opportunity. Opportunity leads to innovation. Surely, the path to the destination wasn't easy. But without a speck of doubt, every single obstacle was worth it.
Makes you think, however. As Brad Pitt brilliantly put it in Moneyball - "Uptown problems". What are our obstacles compared to hundreds of millions of our fellow countrymen. Surely, we all have our own form of struggles. But clearly, if we've made it, shouldn't we help them make it too? Have we ever asked ourselves why it's 'lonely at the top'?
Over the next 2 months, I was about to find out..
On joining the company as an intern, how has your onboarding experience been like?
The stock price jumped by 40% during my tenure, this much I can say.
My onboarding saga coincided with the onboarding of an industry hero. Although the memory remains a bit foggy, I do distinctly remember the organisation's 'Greed Guide' and the perks it offered. You could get inked & treat yourself to a musical instrument. And the company would cover the cost!

-Completeness: This depends on the number of Digital Diaries you have filled.
-Value Addition: This depends on how in-depth your answers have been. The score for this parameter will be given by our Judges.
-Reach: This depends on how many unique people have read your internship experience once we publish the article. We maintain fair play, we will publish all the articles on the same day, so that you can also share the same in your network.
- There is also a title called, ‘Campus With The Most Interesting Interns’ that will be awarded to (a) the campus that submits the maximum number of entries and (b) the campus that submits the best quality entries (based on the score given by our judges). The minimum entries from campus to be considered for this title is 10. So, if you want your campus to win the title then make sure your classmates and other students from your b school share their experiences in this year's Summer Saga Competition.
