Hi, Tell us about how you got selected for this internship? Take us through the moment you realized you had got the internship.
When the company came on campus for its recruitment, what fascinated me was the role they were offering which was E-Commerce Marketing.
After applying for the company, we were put to basic aptitude tests and psychometric test. After clearing the first round, I qualified for the Interview Round. I was interviewed by the National Sales Head of the company, which I realised after joining the company. The interview went pretty well, with the discussion more about entrepreneurship and current affairs.
After a couple of days post the process, when I received the intimation from my Placement Team regarding my selection, I was totally excited to intern with India's first brand in natural hair care and skin care products.
On joining the company as an intern, how has your onboarding experience been like?
The onboarding process was very smooth. As my company came under the essential services category, I had the opportunity to do my internship offline at their office. The internship started with introduction to the company and description of my role. The HR Manager also informed me about the rules of the company and my expected reports and deliverables during the course of my internship with the company. Then, a one-on-one meeting was arranged with the Managing Director, who briefed me about the expectation from me as an intern. The interaction with the MD was a memorable one for me, because his thought process and thinking style was something which I fell for since Day 1 of my internship. After the briefing by the Managing Director, I was introduced to the employees of the company and my guide under whom I would be reporting for the next two months. They also gifted us a box of their natural and aromatic products as a token of welcome to the Soulflower family! The onboarding process at the company was very smooth and pleasant.

-Completeness: This depends on the number of Digital Diaries you have filled.
-Value Addition: This depends on how in-depth your answers have been. The score for this parameter will be given by our Judges.
-Reach: This depends on how many unique people have read your internship experience once we publish the article. We maintain fair play, we will publish all the articles on the same day, so that you can also share the same in your network.
- There is also a title called, ‘Campus With The Most Interesting Interns’ that will be awarded to (a) the campus that submits the maximum number of entries and (b) the campus that submits the best quality entries (based on the score given by our judges). The minimum entries from campus to be considered for this title is 10. So, if you want your campus to win the title then make sure your classmates and other students from your b school share their experiences in this year's Summer Saga Competition.
