Hi, Tell us about how you got selected for this internship? Take us through the moment you realized you had got the internship.
I got selected for the internship from winning the corporate competition of TVS Credit E.P.I.C. Strategy Challenge.
On joining the company as an intern, how has your onboarding experience been like?
The onboarding was virtual. We received welcome goodies from TVS Credit comprising of bag, bottle, diary, and pen. We were introduced with our mentors and HRs took an onboarding welcome session to get acquainted with the culture of the organization.
How has your interaction with the team members and colleagues been like? How will you make sure to leave the best impression on your supervisors by the end of the internship?
Yes, my interaction had been really good. Even in this virtual mode of internship, our HR's made sure to arrange weekly leadership sessions with the top leaders of the firm. There were sessions with Management trainees and other interns as well. So, I got to know a lot of people through these interactive sessions and everyone was approachable.
Tell us in brief, about the project you are currently working on and how is this project going to help the company?
The project is basically on recommending an integrated strategy model for the firm.

Give us an overview of how you prepared for your summer placement season.
I had done my cv vetting and given mock interviews for preparation. And for SIP, I got it by working on a case competition.
Based on your internship experience till now, what are some necessary skill sets one must be prepared with before starting an internship?
Good research skills & eagerness to learn
What are some new skills that you have developed while working in the company?
Analytical skills, strategical frameworks, & project implementation.
What are some of the challenges that you have faced in your internship and how have you overcome them?
Since it was a virtual internship, connecting with people used to take a lot of time and coordination of time schedules. Another thing was since I belonged to a very remote place, I often used to experience the internet during the meetings.
Tell us about a situation where you were complemented by your Manager for your work.
My mentor asked me to do detailed research on a particular. So, I extensively did research not just secondary but primary also. And later, my manager was impressed seeing the efforts that I was putting into.
What have been your major learnings during the internship?
Having patience: You will be given many problem statements to solve, but you won't be able to solve them in one go.
