How Did You Prepare For Your Summer Placements? How Did You Feel Once You Received The Internship Offer?
The interview started with the usual 'Tell me about yourself question, wherein I mentioned my educational background, my previous work experience, and the training that I have undergone during the course of my MBA journey (mostly training related to the specific job role). I am basically a non-engineer and have worked with Asian Paints Ltd. as a Quality and Production Officer prior to my MBA. The interviewer asked me to analyze the supply chain of Asian Paints, which I answered in detail and the interviewer seemed to be impressed.
Prior to our interview, we had undergone a shortlisting process, where we were given a case and we had to make a presentation and provide some solutions to the same.
The later part of the interview was mostly concentrated on the presentation that I had prepared and the solutions provided on the case. There were a few tough questions that were thrown at me which I tried to answer to the best of my knowledge. There were phases when I felt that the interviewer was not very happy with a few of my answers and cross-questioned me from different perspectives. I maintained my composure all throughout and tried to answer all his queries with utmost honesty and to the best of my knowledge.
The last part of the interview was the HR round, where I was asked about my ability to work in teams and my experience with my previous organization. In the end, I asked a few questions regarding their organization which the interviewer answered briefly.
Overall, my interview experience was quite fulfilling and also came with a lot of learning.
