The Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, has successfully completed its Summer Placements (SIPs) in record time for the MBA Class of 2020-22. Even as the industry experienced significant disruptions in the hiring processes due to the ongoing pandemic, DMS IIT Delhi achieved 100% placements, owing to our strong partnerships with various corporates & our esteemed alumni.
This season, DMS IIT Delhi saw the summer placement process is concluded with a thumping 19% increase in the average stipend. Many of our recurring recruiters, such as RB, Shell, Synergy Consulting, GE Healthcare, GE Power, Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture, Amway, Texas Instruments, and Maersk, among others, restored their faith in our students by offering internships across various domains.
We are also grateful to our new recruiters; namely, Tata Consumer Products, Optum, PPG Asian Paints, GamaSec, Jaipur Rugs, VMWare, and BNY Mellon, to name a few, who aligned their hiring cycles with our placement drive as a show of trust in DMS IIT Delhi’s management program and student quality.
Following are a few important highlights of this placement cycle:
- The highest stipend offered to the students stood at INR 3 Lacs.
- The average stipend increased by an impressive 19% to INR 1.78 Lacs.
- The median stipend increased to a significant figure of INR 1.43 Lacs.
- The average stipend of female candidates achieved a noteworthy figure of INR 1.97 Lacs.
