IIM Indore UAE Placements for Summer Internship for the Class of 2014. For a batch of 38 students, the opportunities below are decent and interesting. What caught our eye were the internships in policy and research. This isn't explored enough according to us. If the batch size remains small, we believe this programme is promising. Another aspect to attract recruiters is that 100% students are admitted to this programme on merit.
At the outset, me must mention that our knowledge about this programme and its placements is relatively low because of its short history and lack of our network. However, we have received many queries regarding the placements for this programme and we are happy to report it in our format. We have done as much as we could to verify information. But, potential applicants and recruiters are advised to dig deeper and get as much information as possible first hand. We can confirm that the career services centre of the parent campus does not actively help either the PGP at RAK or PGP at Mumbai programme students. There are independent committees at work at both these campuses. A Corporate Resource Manager has been appointed who also looks at placements. IIM Indore is associated with the Higher College of Technology which is very influential in the region. Also, please confirm with students studying at RAK UAE if there are any companies mentioned here that made offers outside the institute's placement process.

Summer Placement
IIM Indore’s Post Graduate Program in Management at Ras Al Khaimah, UAE (PGP RAK) has successfully completed its Summer Internships recruitment process for the Class of 2012-2014.
The core focus of the program, now in its 3rd year of operation, is to develop managers who can transcend national boundaries and outperform global challenges. This message has been well received by the corporates in the GCC, evident from the fact that 37.5% of recruiters have been from this region
A brief introduction of PGP RAK
The Program is a 2-year full time program (along the lines of PGP at IIM Indore) and the first venture by any IIM outside India. Admissions is via CAT and GMAT. For CAT the Eligibility Criteria is same as IIM Indore (min. 90% Overall and 85% in sectionals) and for GMAT- 650. The Admissions to the program is open till 20th July, 2013.
