Every year at InsideIIM we conduct the Summer Saga, a competition wherein students from B-Schools across the country share their exciting and insightful internship experiences. We receive stories from all functional areas, be it Consulting, Marketing, General Management or Human Resource Management.
This year, we received a whopping 178 entries from students of premier business schools of India who penned down their 60-day journey as a summer intern in the corporate world. The internship experiences showcased top companies as well as fast-growing start-ups, and even a few social organizations.
While the Summer Saga is a competition, it also serves as an excellent repository for on-ground experiences of students in the corporate world; a repository of immense value to future batches of management students, as well as aspirants looking to gain admission into top B-Schools.

The judges for Summer Saga 2018 were -
- Sandeep Nainwal, Principal University Relations Partner, Flipkart

Selection Criteria -
While evaluating the various entries, the judges bore the following criteria in mind:
1.
How interesting and engaging is the content?
2.
Does it add any value to the reader?
3.
Is it comprehensive?
This year, we put the results in the hands of the participants, giving a total of 50% weight to the number of Unique Page Views (UPV) on an entry. Therefore, the more a story is shared and viewed, the more points it entry gets. The other 50% of the weight was in the hands of our esteemed judges.
Combining the scores by the judges and the UPV, the top 25 internship stories were shortlisted, out of which 8 stories were outstanding and were picked as winners.
The Results -
The results for Summer Saga 2018 are as follows -
Since none of the entries from Operations & Supply Chain domain made it to the list of 25, it was decided that no one will be awarded under that category. Instead, 3rd and 4th prize winners were selected for
