Tarushee Kumar from BITS School of Management has earned her place among the 50 most employable MBA graduates from the Class of 2025. Her story is about resilience, leadership, and a deep-seated drive to make a difference. Scroll down to discover how Tarushee has transformed opportunities into milestones and challenges into stepping stones. Growing up in a middle-class family, Tarushee honed her ability to adapt, persevere, and solve problems creatively. These early lessons have shaped her into a leader who thrives under pressure and excels in finding innovative solutions to complex challenges. Her journey has been punctuated by achievements that speak volumes about her determination and capability. Winning the prestigious EY "I Am Exceptional Award" was a moment of pride that validated her potential in a competitive landscape. Another highlight of her journey was organizing her college’s first national-level debate competition—a demanding yet rewarding task that showcased her ability to bring ideas to life. During her internship at an international consultancy, Tarushee demonstrated her knack for strategy and problem-solving, leaving a lasting impression. Tarushee’s tenacity is best illustrated by a moment of introspection that changed her perspective. A stranger’s question—“What is your name?”—might seem trivial to most, but for her, it became a catalyst for self-reflection and growth. That question led her to redefine her identity and set bold goals, paving the way for greater achievements. Her resilience shines brightest in moments of adversity. Tarushee believes setbacks are opportunities to grow, and she relies on her unwavering optimism and support system to overcome challenges. Her ability to bounce back and keep moving forward is one of the many reasons she stands out as a leader. Integrity is another cornerstone of her character. As the head of a college society, she faced an ethical dilemma that tested her values. By addressing the situation with transparency and fairness, Tarushee upheld her principles and strengthened her team's trust. Among her most notable accomplishments is the successful execution of a challenging project in 2018. With limited resources and a diverse team, she led the initiative to completion, proving that determination and collaboration can overcome even the toughest obstacles. Communication has been another key to her success. During her consultancy role, she turned potential conflicts arising from miscommunication into opportunities for clarity and collaboration, ensuring the success of her projects while building stronger relationships. As she continues her MBA journey at BITS School of Management, Tarushee’s story serves as an inspiration for what’s possible with focus, adaptability, and a vision for success. She’s not just prepared to take on the future—she’s ready to shape it.
