Shirt, there are different kinds of shirts. Plain shirts. Printed shirts. Flowery shirts. Beach shirts. Subtle shirts. Loud shirts. Long shirts. Maybe even crop shirts (Who knows what all fashion they are coming up with these shirts). But one shirt touched my life in a way no other could.
Right after my graduation, with a confused yet determined mind I had started my preparation for my post graduation in management. The results of various entrance exams were out and now was the final stage to crack the interview of a good B school to start my journey towards becoming a young future manager and leader of this country. However interviews being my weak spot, caused panic in my heart every time I had to go through one. Even though I believed in myself and my passion to make it to a good B school, interviews remained a challenge to some extend. And finally an important interview came along and my brother realising that I had to get through this one decided to go old school and buy me a 'lucky gift'. Right before my flight to Mumbai fir my interview for NMIMS, I received a paper bag from Allen Solly, and inside was a plain blue shirt with a note, "Please don't mess this one up, I bought you a nice shirt." and although I am not one for lucky charms too much, I had a brilliant interview.
That's how a shirt touched my life and how Allen Solly touches millions of other lives.
