Do you want to get into TISS (Tata Institute Of Social Science)? The first step to get there is cracking TISSNET 2020. If you dream to do an MA in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations, then you need to take TISSNET seriously. It is a 100 minutes online test, where you have to clear an overall cut-off (no sectional cut-off) to get called for an interview. The difficulty level of TISSNET is not that high as compared to CAT or XAT, however, you do require a special prep plan to become ready for this test. About TISSNET Exam

  1. TISSNET 2020 will be conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai
  2. The exam date is 4th January 2020.
  3. TISS Campuses that are participating for TISSNET 2020 are - TISS Mumbai, TISS Tuljapur, TISS Hyderabad, TISS Guwahati and BALM Chennai. 
  4. TISSNET paper consists of 3 sections - General Awareness, Language skills and Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation.
  5. All the questions will be in MCQ format where you will get 4 answer choices. You have to choose 1 correct answer. 
  6. There will be a total of 100 questions and you will be given 100 minutes to solve them. This means you will get only 1 minute to solve each question. 
  7. Each question carries one mark and thankfully, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
  8. If you want to get shortlisted for interviews, you just need to clear the overall cut off. There are no sectional cut-offs.
